Details | William Holdenne of Shipbourne senior, William Hendyman of Shipbourne, William Wardon of Lamberhurst, John Smith of Wrotham and Bartholomew Kyriell of Wateringbury on 15th June 1381 were involved in various uprisings and assemblies at Tonbridge and with other wrongdoers unknown entered feloniously into the castle of Tonbridge seeking Nicholas Heryng and John Bampton in order to kill them, and the same night feloniously entered and broke into the park called Posterne against the king's peace. |
