II, Part 2, m. 31 18 Oct 1382 Westminster General pardon to the burgesses and commonalty of Scardeburgh [Scarborough], Yorks, except Henry de Ruston the elder, John de Rillyngton, John de Wawayn, William de Shropham, Robert Paa, John de Stokwyth, John de Brunne, William Sage, John de Barton, John de Morshom the elder, William Carter, Alan Waldyf, John de Acclum, Henry de Ruston the younger, William Scot, Richard de Shropham, William Percy, John Coroner, Richard Cholman, Thomas del Lane, Peter Wistowe, John de Seterington, John Coke, Richard Couper, Reginald Gerrad, Thomas Sergeant, Thomas Peke, Adam Clerke, Adam de Seterington, John de Calby, Thomas de Brunne, John Page, William de Novo Castro, Hugh de Barton, William Manby, Richard del Kechin, Henry Wresill, Robert Erll, Roger Baxster, Thomas Maldson of Whallesgrave [Falsgrave], Robert Acclum, and Robert Rillyngton of Scardeburgh [Scarborough], including insurrections, treasons, etc, before the Exaltation of the Cross last, and forfeitures on account of the same, all exportings of wools, hides, woolfells, merchandise, gold and silver in coin or bullion beyond seas or to Scotland without payment of custom or subsidy, and all fines and amercements before the justices of oyer and terminer in the county of York after the Exaltation of the Cross last. By K. and C. in Parl. and by fine of 400 marks, in which the said commonalty, excepting the 42 persons named, is by its writings bound, whereof it has paid £100. The like to the burgesses and commonalty of Beverley, Yorks, except Thomas de Beverley, Richard his son, Richard de Botston, John Treylle, John Materasmaker of Beverley, Thomas de Irelond, Roger Coupere, Thomas Fynell, John de Holyme and Thomas Gue alias Grene of Beverley. By K. and C. in Parl. and by fine of 1,100 marks, in which the said commonalty, except the ten persons named, is by its writings bound, whereof 500 acre to be paid at the feast of St Luke, 300 at Easter and 300 at Michaelmas. |
