Text (English translation)Middlesex: Reginald Redyng complains about Thomas Gray of 'Blethennle' and John York of London on account that they, on Thursday in the feast of Corpus Christi in the fourth year ... ... after the conquest, by force and arms, viz with staffs and ..., etc, broke into the houses of the same Reginald at Holborn in the parish of St Andrew without the Old Temple of London, and took and carried away timber from the aforesaid houses, viz rafters, spars, joists and laths, to the value of £20, found there, to the damage of the same king of 100 marks and against the peace, etc. Pledges to prosecute: John Lynne and Richard Roys.
