Text (English translation) | London: John Salesbury, glazier, in his own proper person appeared on the fourth day against Michael Cordewaner of Maidstone, Thomas Shepeye of Bredgar, John Redyng, John Taillour of Newington, William Furneux, Walter Fullere of Lewisham, William atte Chirche, Thomas Kyng of Milstead and Henry Bole of Cuxton, concerning a plea, whereby they, together with John Bakere of Halling, John Holewey of Snodland, John Shropshire of Rochester, Richard Pelle of Rochester, Bartholomew Buntyng, Walter Chipe of Malling, John Huwet, Walter Lenedale, John Canon and John Hethe of Wrotham, by force and arms, broke into the house of the same John Salesbury at London and inflicted other outrages on him, to the damage of the same John Salesbury of £40 and against the peace, etc. And they have not come. And the sheriffs are ordered, just as on several occasions, that they should take them, if, etc, and saving, etc, in such a way that they should have their bodies here at this Saturday on the morrow of St John the Baptist.
