Item presentant quod Philippus Hardy de Holborne daubere de conitatu Midd' Willelmus Blunt de London brewere die iovis in festo corporis christi et die veneris proxima sequente anno regni regis nunc quarto venerunt ad manerium de Savoye et Clerkenwell et ad domum Andrei Tettesworth simul cum aliis malefactoribus et maneria predicta et domos predictas felonice et proditorie combusserunt et prosternerunt contra pacem regis et co.
Text (English translation)The jurors present that Robert Cave, baker of Dartford, Richard Nevylle of Southwark, Walter Payn, bracegirdler of London, John Hayward of Elmdon in the county of Essex, John Hayward junior of Essex, William Berle of Elmdon, skinner, John Smyth of Elmdon and John Scot, tawyer of London, on Thursday 13 and Friday 14 June 1381 went to the manors of the Savoy and Clerkenwell and to the manor of John Butterwyk at Knightsbridge with a multitude of traitors, against the lord king and his people, and feloniously and treasonably burnt and tore down the houses of the aforesaid manors, against the peace. They also present that John Leg of the county of Cornwall and Nicholas Melemakere of the same county on Friday 14 June 1381 went with the multitude of insurgents against the king and his people to the church of St Clement without Temple Bar London and there took John de Spayne from the said church and lead him to Tower Hill and there feloniously and treasonably beheaded him against the pace of the KIng et co. They also present that Phillip Hardy of Holborn, 'daubere', of the county of Middlesex William Blunt of London, brewer, on Thursday 13 June and Friday 14 June 1381 went to the manors of Savoy and Clerkenwell and t the house of Andrew Tettesworth together with other malefactors and feloniously and treasonably burnt them and threw them down against the peace of the king et co.
