Thomas Cursonn appeared through William Bodeney, his attorney, against Thomas Rose junior, Clement de Kerdestone, Richard Smythe, William Wright, John Rust, John de Lyng, Clement atte Halleyate, Edward Sutere, Robert Sparhauk, William, son of John Freman, John Cook, William Aleyn, John Dobbes and Roger, his son, William Broket, William Smyth, Robert Halleman, William Bysshope, John Gerberge, John, son of John Gronye, Adam Belleman, John Persone, Thomas Rust, John de Suttone of Fakenham, John Bakke, John Lange, Henry Taliour and John Haliwalle on a plea that with force and arms they broke the close and houses of the said Thomas Cursonn at Foulsham, and they took and led away five horses, a certain bull, two cows and ten pigs of his found there, price £20, and took and carried away his goods and chattels found there to the value of £10, and threw a certain bag and two boxes of his there, with charters, writings and other muniments contained in the same bag and boxes, into a certain ditch, whereby the aforesaid charters, writings and muniments were burnt, and other enormities etc and against the peace etc. And they did not come. And the sheriff was ordered to attach them etc. And the sheriff reports that they have nothing etc. Therefore, the sheriff is ordered to arrest them and produce them here at the quindene of Hilary. And whence etc. At which day the sheriff did not send the writ. Therefore, as before they should be arrested and likewise here at the quindene of Easter. Norfolk.
