John White appears by his attorney against Thomas Tubbe of Swanton, Walter de Lesyngham, Peter Dennys of Swanton, Roger Couper of Skeyton, Geoffrey Joye, Geoffrey Buntyng, Geoffrey Kyng of Great Hautbois, John de Multon, Clement Pampyng, Adam Legard of Coltishall, Geoffrey atte Welle, Robert del Stones, Gilbert Kyngle of Felmingham, Henry Bette, Nicholas Pekke, John Balle, John Alvyngham, John atte Brigg, Clement de Kerdyston, William Rygald, Thomas Godefrey, Stephen atte Welle, Thomas Shirref and John son of Richard of Salle on a plea that with force and arms they broke into the closes and houses of the same John White at Lamas, Mannington(?) and Swannington and felled his trees lately growing there, and took and carried away those trees, as well as other goods and chattels of his found in there to the value of 50 marks, and also 50 marks of his money in cash, and also a certain box and two bags of his, with charters, writings and other muniments contained in the box and two bags found there, and they threatened to demolish the houses of the same John White until had made a fine of 10 marks with the aforesaid Thomas, Walter, Peter, Roger, Geoffrey, Geoffrey, Geoffrey, John de Multone, Clement, Adam, Geoffrey, Robert, Geoffrey, Henry, Nicolas, John Balle, John Alvyngham, John atte Brigg, Clement, William, Thomas Stephen, Thomas and John son of Richard for the saving of his houses, and other enormities, against the peace.
