Text (English translation) | Norfolk. John, son of Alexander Fastolf of Caister in Flegg, appears through Henry of Lesyngham, his attorney, against William Coke, William Heydon, Thomas Frannceys, shoemaker, William Salle, John Mathewe, shoemaker, John Bakesond, Henry Pekke, John de Wymdham, Robert de Ormesby, John Blonnyll, smith, Richard Webstere, Fleming, Robert Baxter of Filby, John Norman junior, Roger Taillour and William Soppe on a plea that with force and arms they broke the close and houses of the said John, son of Alexander, at Caister in Flegg, and took and carried away his goods and chattels found there to the value of £40, and other enormities, against the peace. And they do not come. And the sheriff has been ordered to attach them. And the sheriff reports that they have nothing. Therefore, the sheriff is ordered to arrest them and produce them here at three weeks after Easter 1382. Norfolk.
