Et preceptum fuit vicecomiti quod attachieret eum etc. Et vicecomes modo mandat quod nichil habet etc. Ideo preceptum est vicecomiti quod capiat eum si etc. Et saluo etc. Ita quod habeat corpus eius hic a die Pasche in tres septimas per iusticiarios. Et vnde etc.
Text (English translation)Norfolk. John Pagrave appears through Thomas Abbe, his attorney, against John Mounteneye on a plea that with force and arms he took and carried away goods and chattels of the said John Pagrave, found at Palgrave, to the value of £40, and assaulted his men and servants in the same, he beat, wounded and ill-treated them whereby the same John Pagrave lost the service of his aforesaid men and servants for a long time, and other enormities, against the peace. And he does not come. And the sheriff has been ordered to attach him. And the sheriff reports that they have nothing. Therefore, the sheriff is ordered to arrest him and produce him here at three weeks after Easter 1382.
