Walter Fitzwalter, knight, by John Giffard his attorney, plaintiff, appears against John Baldewyne, Nicholas Beverle of Cheshunt, Richard Bocking, John Shepherd of Roydon, Richard Croucheman, John Grigge, John Cowyk of Sheering junior, William atte Helle of Roydon, Richard Hosebonde, John Bourle, John Stonherst, Walter Bygge, souter, Richard Clerk, William Webbe, William Sharnebrok, William Kirton, John Lavynham of Roydon, John Pentrye of Cheshunt, William Adam of Cheshunt, John Maltman, Simon atte March, William Ferour of Cheshunt, Thomas Sherynge junior, Nicholas Shepherd of Cheshunt, Richard Hostiler of Cheshunt, Richard Dalowe, Richard Bocher of Cheshunt, William Hunte, cook, Richard that was Ionesservant Badburgham and Thomas Cut, defendants, on a plea that with force and arms they broke the close and the houses of the said Walter Fitzwalter at Roydon and Sheering and took and carried away his goods and chattels worth £20 found ther and burnt charters, deeds and other muniments found there.The defendants do not come.
