| Text (English translation) | Writs dated 28 July 1381 ordering Sheriffs of London to place in exigend the following to be in the court of William Walworth, Mayor of London, and his fellows at the Guildhall on the Wednesday after the quindene of Hillary to answer concerning divers treasons and felonies of which they are indicted. The accused were exacted for the second time in the Common Pleas of Husting held on 21 October 1381. They were exacted for the third time on 1 December 1381 (but William Drye's name is omitted). They were exacted for the fourth time on 30 December 1381 (but William Drye's name is omitted). They were exacted for the last time on 27 January 1382 (but William Drye's name is omitted) and outlawed. |
