And they say that John Geldere, chief leader, and William son of William de Metefeld of Brandon came with force and arms with others unknown to Didlington on Sunday 16th June 1381 and carried off the goods and chattels of Richard de Holdyk at Didlington, namely silver plates, beds and woollen and linen cloth worth £20. Also they say that John Kempe of Foulden was a chief leader at the time of the uprising and the rumour with others unknown on the aforesaid day and year at Didlington, and he tore down the house of Richard de Holdych, and inflicted other outrages on the same Richard, to the damage of £40. And they also say that Ralph Cooc of Foulden at the time of the uprising and the rumour on 17th June 1381 at Didlington and Foulden took and carried away 300 sheep worth £20 from Richard de Holdych, and he is a common wrongdoer. Also they say that William Geldere of Feltwell at the time of the uprising and the rumour on Friday 14th June 1381 at Mildenhall paid 40 s. to unknown men to behead Thomas atte Hok. John de Sutton of Tottington, chief leader at the time of the rumour and uprising, came on Sunday 16th June 1381 with force and arms to Tottington and inflicted threats on John, vicar of the aforesaid church, that they would cut off his head unless the same John, vicar, made a fine with the same John de Sutton and his associates of 40 s., which he [John the vicar] paid. And he [John de Sutton] is a common wrongdoer. Also they say that Thomas Smyth, dwelling in Letton, came with force and arms at the time of the uprising and the rumour, on Monday 17th June 1381, to Saham Toney and entered the close of John Gagh, and stole and carried away a saddle and a pair of boots, and inflicted other enormities, to the damage of the said John of 6 s. 8 d., and he is a common wrongdoer.
