| Text (English translation) | And that a certain John Bush of Great Dunham, with others unknown, plundered a cow from Robert Sprot at Holkham, and rode to a great company and reported to the men there about the men in the area of Holkham, and he was a common highwayman etc. And that Thomas Soppe, recently dwelling in Burnham, at the time with others unknown, came to the manor of the Abbot of Dereham, and there broke the gates of his houses, and plundered from John the servant a wash-bowl and a basin, and was a common plunderer of men, against the peace. |
