Item dicunt quod Willelmus Spicer de Wymondham, proditor, qui pro insurreccione quam domino regi fecit contra legeanciam suam tercio die Septembris anno supradicto coram prefatis iusticiariis similiter convictus et decapitates fuit habuit apud Wymondham in comitatu predicto die et anno supradictis bona et catalla ad valenciam xl s. Item dicunt quod Thomas Colynger et alii proditores prenominati non habuerunt die et anno supradicto nec prius postea plura bona sive catalla nec aliqua terra seu tenementa in comitatu predicto que extentis extentis appreciates aut in manu domini regis capi possunt. Text (English translation)Inquisition held ex officio at Norwich in the said county on the twentieth day of October 6 Richard II (20 Oct. 1382) before John Reed, escheator of the lord king in the beforementioned county, by John Randolp, Walter Faulere, Robert Halle, Robert Nooth, William Fydymond, Richard de Halle, Henry Pye, Thomas Randolf, John Fox, Laurence de Horstede, Thomas Lyngwode and Thomas de Eccles, who said upon their oath that Thomas Colynger, traitor, who, for the insurrection he made against his allegiance to the lord king, was convicted and beheaded at Norwich on 25 September 6 Richard II (25 Sept. 1382) before Thomas de Morlee, knight, and his associate justices of the said lord king appointed to hear and determine concerning the insurrection, had in Blofield at the aforesaid day and year diverse goods and chattels worth 2 s. Item they said that Roger, servant of Robert Wyrme(?) chaplain, traitor, who, for the beforementioned insurrection on the aforesaid day and year, was likewise convicted and beheaded had at the same place [Blofield] goods and chattels worth 3 s. Item they said that Richard de Ely, traitor, who, for the aforesaid insurrection, was before the abovementioned justices and was likewise convicted and beheaded had at the same place [Blofield] at the same day and year goods and chattels worth 5 s. Item they said that William Crede of Blofield, traitor, who, for the aforesaid insurrection, was before the abovementioned justices and was likewise convicted and beheaded had at the same place [Blofield] at the same day and year goods and chattels worth 4 s. Item they said that John Dod, traitor, who, for the aforesaid insurrection, was before the abovementioned justices and was likewise convicted and beheaded had at the same place [Blofield] at the same day and year goods and chattels worth 18 s. 3 d. Item they said that Alan Taillour of Blofield, traitor, who, for the aforesaid insurrection, was before the abovementioned justices and was likewise convicted and beheaded had at the same place [Blofield] at the same day and year goods and chattels worth 7 s. 3 d. Item they said that Jacob ate Chirche, traitor, who, for the aforesaid insurrection, was before the abovementioned justices and was likewise convicted and beheaded had at the same place [Blofield] at the same day and year goods and chattels worth 13 s. Item they said that Henry Wrighte of Beighton, traitor, who, for the aforesaid insurrection, was before the abovementioned justices and was likewise convicted and beheaded had at Beighton in the said county at the same day and year goods and chattels worth 8 s. Item they said that Adam Oky of Thrigby, traitor, who, for the aforesaid insurrection, was before the abovementioned justices and was likewise convicted and beheaded had at Thrigby in the said county at the same day and year goods and chattels worth 20 s. 4 d. Item they said that William Spicer of Wymondham, traitor, who, for the insurrection he made against his allegiance to the lord king, was before the aforesaid justices and likewise convicted and beheaded on 3 September in the abovementioned year (6 Richard II; 3 Sept. 1382), had at Wymondham in the said county at the same day and year goods and chattels worth 40 s. Item they said that Thomas Colynger and the other beforenamed traitors do not have on the said day and year nor before or after(?) more goods and chattels nor other land or tenements in the said county the value of which could have been appraised or taken into the king's hand. In testimony whereof the aforesaid justices have affixed their seal on the present inquisition. Given at the abovesaid day, place and year.
