Text (English translation)Royal writ (dated 28 November 1382) to the escheator of Kent and Middlesex, John Newenton, informing him that Roger Lundenyssh of Headcorn was pardoned 18 January 1382. Therefore, the escheator is ordered to release the confiscated goods of Roger.
General InformationRoger was accused of having taken part in the attempt to rise again in September 1381 in Kent. He received a pardon, dated 18 January 1382. The 'Index to the Pardon Rolls' gives the date 15 April 1382 for the pardon.
