Robert Fletcher incites rebellion at Heacham and speaks ill of the Bishop of Norwich
Robert Fletcher (beheaded), dwelling in Hunstanton, came with others unknown up to Heacham with bows and arrows and other arms, and incited the men of Heacham to rise up in this rumour against the king's peace, speaking ill of our venerable Father Lord Henry, Bishop of Norwich, and that he [i.e. the bishop] rode through the country punishing wrongdoers, in a bad example to the whole of the community of the land, namely on Monday just passed (8th July 1381).
