John Holtman, William Dove and John Davy burn documents of the manor of Hempstead
And they present that on Monday 17th June 1381, John Holtman, William Dove and John Davy, thatcher, were with the corrupt society of their own free will, and afterwards came to the house of Thomas Fox of Barningham and made the said Thomas give up against his will rolls pertaining to the manor of Hempstead and its lord William Kaly, knight, and the said William (Dove) and John Davy burnt the said rolls in a fire.
