Attack on property of Countess of Hereford at Hatfield Broad Oak
Close and houses of Joan, Countess of Hereford, at Hatfield Broad Oak broken. Goods and chattels worth £60 taken. Charters, writings, rolls and other muniments taken and burnt.
John Dawe appears against William Marchal in a plea of covenant. Dawe said he agreed to make an iron saw ('sari de ferro') for the price of 18d. William said Dawe did not make the saw therefore he does not owe the money. An inquiry is ordered.
