Theft and failure to repay debt by Thomas de Elchyngdenn
[The jurors] also say upon their oath, that Thomas de Elchyngdenn, of Woodchurch, feloniously plundered William Chapman, at Willesborough, of five marks sterling, of which he paid xiii s. iv d., and bound himself by a deed obligatory to pay the residue on a certain day, the Tuesday after the feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, in the foresaid year.
