[The jurors] also say, that one John Gerkyn, on Thursday in the feast of Corpus Christi (13th June, 1381), rose and made proclamation, that all of the foresaid hundred should assemble, and prepare themselves with divers arms, etc., whereby a multitude of the people assembled, and did no harm by that proclamation. But they say that that proclamation was made by precept of Bertram de Wylminton.
