The Jurors say, that John Childeston, with other unknown malefactors, rose against the peace of our Lord the King, viz.
on Tuesday next after the feast of the Apostles St. Peter and St. Paul, in the fourth (fifth, 2nd July, 1381) year of the King
that now is, at Royton Heath, and made divers proclamations and assemblies of divers unknown malefactors, against our Lord the King and his people, in order to resist the Justices of our Lord the King, and other conservators of the peace.
