Also, the jurors say, that, on Monday on the morrow of the Holy Trinity aforesaid (10th June, 1381), the foresaid Henry Whyte, and Nicholas Cherchegate, and John Barbour of Newenton, with others unknown, came to the house of Thomas Holte in Westgate next Canterbury, and feloniously broke into the said house, and feloniously took and carried away the goods and chattels of the said Thomas, to the value of forty pounds.
