Thomas atte Raven takes a statute merchant and forced fine from Reginald Aleyn
Thomas atte Raven alias Thomas Raven of Suthwerk [Southwark], on Friday 14 June 1381 was one of the insurgents in the city of London, who came to the house of Reginald Aleyn at Walbrook and took from him a statute merchant, in which he the said Thomas was bound in a large sum to the said Reginald, compelling him under threat of death to make a fine of 10 marks with him.
