Robert Joykyn was arrested as a result of indictment before the Bedfordshire JPs that on 31 May 1381 at Roxton he feloniously killed Richard Derwent of the county of Lancaster. At the delivery of Bedford gaol on 16 September 1384, Joykyn produced a pardon dated 19 May 1382 together with a writ dated 12 July 1382 confirming that he had given sureties for his good behaviour. Therefore goes sine die in respect of this killing.
