01/05/1379 to 03/05/1381 | Thorncote,Bedfordshire | At the delivery of Bedford gaol on 1 March 1384, William Ivel of Thorncote had been arrested on an indictment made before the Bedfordshire justices of the peace that on 1 May 1379 at Budna in the parish of Northill Ivel feloniously killed John Taillour of Northill. And he was similarly indicted under the name of William Ivel of Beeston that on 3 May 1381 at Northill he felonously stole from Amicia Patrich one sheep worth sixteen pence. Ivel appeared and produced a pardon dated 26 January 1382 and a writ dated 24 November 1382 confirming that Ivel had given sureties for his good behaviour. Ivel goes sine die. | JUST 3/164 m. 8 |
