| 25/10/1383 | Babraham,Cambridgeshire | At the delivery of Cambridge gaol on 19 March 1384, John Spencer of Barbraham had been arrested on an indictment made before the Sheriff in his tourn held at Babraham on 28 October 1383 that, with other men men armed with arrows whose names are unknown by night on 25 October 1383, Spencer feloniously took and robbed from Walter the clerk of Robert Parys, escheator of the Lord King in the said county collecting various debts of the Lord King, divers letters and muniments relating to the said escheator's office as well as three shillings and four silver pennies found there.
