Thomas Wylde threatens and extorts money from Walter de Bixton
They also present that Thomas Wylde of Norwich, fuller, with other people who have risen and assembled in societies against the crown and the dignity of the lord king, came on Monday 17th June 1381 to the house of Walter de Bixton in Norwich and that the aforesaid Thomas, who owed the same Walter £7 in silver for the farming of land he has released, entered the house of Walter with the help of his aforesaid societies and threatened his life and limb if he did not remit the said £7, and for fear of his death and in saving his life he waived the £7, and on top of this he took from the same Walter in order to save his life 6 s 8 d by extorsion.
