Geoffrey, vicar of All Saints Sudbury makes a proclamation at Thetford and takes a fine from the mayor Simon Barbour
The jurors say upon their oath that Geoffrey, vicar of the church of All Saints, Sudbury, came to Thetford on 14th June (1381) and made a proclamation and uprising, and exacted by extortion a fine of 28 marks from Simon Barbour, then mayor, for not burning down the aforesaid town, against the king's peace.
