William de Metfield threatens the Prior of Bromehill
[The jurors] also say that the aforesaid William son of William was a chief leader of the people raised [in rebellion] against the king's peace at Bromehill on Monday 17th June 1381, and the same William along with other wrongdoers associated with him openly threatened the Prior of Bromehill, that if he would not give him £10, his houses would be thrown down and the Prior killed. And so by these threats, he took and carried away the said £10 from the said Prior, against the king's peace.
