The accused (John Jory, John Michelat, Stephen Samuel, William Stone, William Tolone) raised a cry that no tenant should do service or custom to the lordships in Thanet, as they have aforetime done, under pain of forfeiture of their goods, and the cutting off their heads. And also, that they should not suffer any distress to be taken, under the above-said penalty.
