John atte Forthe, chaplain of the church of Potton, with the assent of Richard Ecclessale, and with the aid of the rebels, on Sunday 16 June 1381 broke into the chests of Richard Ecclessale at Potton and carried away £200 of goods, chattels and jewels which were forfeit to the king on account of the murder of John Hobbe, and later handed them over to Richard Ecclesshale.
