Robert atte Were and others break the manor of Sutton and burn documents
Robert atte Were, Peter Walsshe, Roger Walsshe, on Saturday 15 June 1381, came to the manor of the dean of the church of St Paul, London, of Sutton and there broke the gates and doors of the said manor of Sutton in an insurrection of wrongdoers, rising up against the lord king, and took the rolls of courts of the said manor and custumals of the same manor there, and set them on fire and feloniously and traitorously burnt the said rolls and custumals.
