Concerning the abbot of Ramsey, Hunts., required to answer the King regarding 17 horses, 19 saddles with bridles, six swords, two shields, one hauberk [coat of mail] and one baselard [dagger], not appraised, that belonged to Robert Tavell and William Cobbe, traitors, and other unknown traitors, having risen up against their liege on 13 June 1381. The abbot denies this; order to investigate.
