Petition from Adam Coppendale and Thomas de Beverley complaining of malicious indictment by John de Bigot
Coppendale, Beverley and other good men of Beverley request that whereas they were maliciously indicted of diverse felonies before Bigot and his companions at Beverley at the time of this rumour by their enemies, who are trouble-makers and rebels to the King, which indictments came into the King's Bench by writ, that the King, if he believes that the indictments were maliciously made, will annul them in this parliament.
