William Hirvynge threatens and takes a fine from Richard Palmere
William Hirvynge of Aslacton on Monday 17th June 1381 came to Hackford with force and arms and against the peace with a large society of people wrongfully raised up, whose names are unknown, and there they feloniously entered the close and houses of Richard Palmere, and they seized the same Richard and threatened him with decapitation and destruction of his houses unless he would make a fine with the same William Hirvynge of one silver mark, [and this] on the abetment and procurement of Geoffrey Lestan, beheaded.
