Rebellion of Richard Philymond, John Gentelombe and John Bettes
Richard Philymond of Buxton, John Gentelombe, John Bettes of North Walsham were chief leaders of the people unlawfully rising up against the lord king's peace at Billockby and Caister in Flegg, namely on Tuesday 18th June 1381, and thus from village to village to the prejudice of the crown of the lord king and the disturbance of the peace against the proclamation and prohibition of the said lord king.
