To the tenants free and neif of the king's manor of Langele Marreys [Langley Marish, Buckinghamshire]. Strict order, upon their allegiance and under pain of forfeiture, without murmuring or difficulty to perform the works, customs and services which they ought, as they used to do before the disturbance now arisen in the realm, forbidding them on any pretence to withdraw the same in these times of disturbance, or to claim any other liberties or privileges than they formerly had, and commanding them to give up to the king and council to be cancelled a charter made to them concerning manumissions and pardons.
