Details | On the following day [14 June 1381] they went to the Tower of London and helped [fuerunt adiutores] in the beheading of the Archbishop [Simon Sudbury, Archbishop of Canterbury], the Master of St John [Robert Hales, Master of the Hospitallers] and others and afterwards broke the houses of Andrew Brewere [also known as Andrew Tettesworth, a brewer and notorious promoter of false lawsuits] at the Strand and John Botirwyk [John Butterwick, under-sheriff of Middlesex] next Knightsbridge. |
