[The jurors] also say that John Man of Wretton went to the great society against the king's peace rising up on Sunday 16th June 1381 at the time of the uprising and rumour, and incited and gathered them to come to the hundred of Clacklose to destroy and throw down the houses of Richard Tooth, Roger Davy and others, and the aforesaid John confessed that he was voluntarily and without coercion with the aforesaid society for two days, against the king's peace.
