Details | The jurors present that Thomas Sampson, John de Batisford, parson of the church of Bucklesham and Richard Talmache, chief congregators at the time of the rising in a warlike manner and against the dignity of the crown, came feloniously and fraudulently with many others unknown to the village of Culpho on Sunday 16th June 1381 and there they feloniously entered the close and houses of Roger de Wolferston and feloniously plundered and carried away pans, linen and woollen garments, grain, malt, wool sheep, cows, horses and other goods and chattels of the said Roger worth 100 marks. |
