DetailsGrant, as from Michaelmas last, to the king's yeoman, John Roos, in fee simple, of the lands in the county of Cambridge, late of John Hanchache, extended at £16 yearly, forfeited to the Crown on account of the share of the latter in the late insurrection, for which he was beheaded, in lieu of the offices of bailiff itinerant of Norwich and bailiff of the hundred of Hensted [Henstead], Norf, granted to him in the room of John Herlyng, deceased, by letters patent dated 26 Aug 6 Ric. II, now surrendered.
