William Sterk and Thomas Drewe raise the community of Wymondham

[The jurors] also say that William Sterk of Shelfanger and Thomas Drewe of the same on Monday 24th June 1381 came to Wymondham to the community of the aforesaid village and presented to them that if they wished to rise up against the peace they should bring forth 1000 men to destroy the king's faithful lieges, and they rode from village to village to raise the people.
