[The jurors] also say that William son of William de Metfield of Brandon was a chief leader of the people against the king's peace, now recently rising up at Methwold on Sunday 16th June 1381, and there he broke into the houses of John, Duke of Lancaster, and feloniously burnt the rolls and muniments which he found there of the same duke, against the peace.
