John Batesford, parson of the church of Bucklesham, Thomas Sampson and John Bele of Ipswich, rope-maker, living in Cauldwell Avenue, went on Sunday 16th June 1381 to Melton and feloniously and in a warlike manner broke into the home of William Fraunceys, and feloniously carried away goods and chattels worth £10.
